Hello friends , Welcome to my blog article .Today we're going to talk about very interesting module which is very very apt in today's time and age which is known as social intelligence 

Well friends parents and relatives and teachers have always given more importance to our IQ rather than our IQ Well it becomes very important to understand that we do not only have to be bookish by nature or rather be book smart we should always pay more attention to how and when we are able to build relationships and build rapport with people who are around us .

Today's technology and the way we are living we have stopped having human    connect with people but rather we are   glued onto our phones and our social media without really understanding the importance of connecting with people on real time basis Let's take look at what is there on the agenda for us today Well here we are going to talk about social intelligence what are certain problems certain causes are social intelligence components of social intelligence The seven tips which I'm going to share with you on how to become more socially active .

I'm success chart is what we're going to discuss So friends what exactly do we mean by the dumb social intelligence Well the capacity to know oneself and to know others is an inalienable part of our human condition as is the capacity to know objects or sound And this has to be treated with as much more importance as anything else in the world Well 

it's important to know yourself know what are your strengths and weaknesses and also know about the other person which can happen only when you communicate and build rapport with them .

Well certain problems in today's time and age and I'm sure many of you will relate to this particular cartoon picture over here but says I've got hundreds of friends on facebook but I've never really met them. 

And the other one that is that the older generation says , when I was we used to call them as young imaginary friends . 


Well how many friends do you really have on your social media right now who are just changes to you whom you know as acquaintances but have not really built rapport with or have not really known what's going on in their lives ?

We always flip through our social media platforms trying to understand how many likes have we got or how many people have liked our photos and everything else that we've shared .

But do we really know these people ?

Well it's important to really connect with people in today's time and age Well certain causes which is leading to less of social intelligence in today's time and age are seek information instead of developing skills thinking too much when people really want to go out and meet somebody who probably might be there on their Facebook page .

However they think too much whether the person will like it or not like it or may take it in another way altogether .

This psych themselves out with regards to too much of you know being bombarded with too many information on social media So do not psych yourself out with that information They can't deal with film .

They live in are uncomfortable you know zone or environment or dangerous environment where they fear too much the fear about things which might not be even true .

So getting too much anxious is not something which will help you in the long run Both sudden confidence of social intelligence And this is something which is very very essential to understand is you need to be self aware Try to understand what are your strengths What is your weakness Where is your passion and stuff like that When you are aware of yourself you are more confident as person and you come across to people as having high self-esteem .

So always build time to know yourself The second is have self regulation That means to put on your thinking cap every day for at least 30 to 45 minutes day Try to be introspective for yourself Try to think about what went right what went wrong and what could have been done in better way When you spend time with yourself wearing your thinking gap is when you are more comfortable with yourself and you are able to show yourself in more confident manner . 

Next social skills, i might really urge all of you youngsters that folks who are Reading this Article not only know you, confer with people or chat with them on social media platforms. 

rather Get up and go and meet people face to face That way you will build on your social skills which are which is really very very important in today's time .

Next is to have empathy Put yourself in another person's shoes and try to think from their point of view Try to think about things which are important for them Their feelings are more important than your feelings So always empathize with people think that's such winner And you can really get to know lot of people when you empathize with them The next one is motivation It's very important to be motivated to talk to people and build rapport around with people .

 If you're somebody who's demotivated ultimately what happens is people don't want to be around you

If you're always complaining and crabbing and you know stuff like that people do not want to be around such kind of negative person .

Well there are seven tips in order to become more socially acceptable person or having social intelligence These tips are the first one is smile think that's such an important part of your day to day living Nobody wants to meet someone who is always frowning So always smiling .

Second is be sensitive towards others Third is you need to listen Do not hear listen to listen to them And that's difference Do not listen to reply But listen with listening bobbers .

Eye contact is something which is very important when you're talking to people 51 is learn about body language Try to see what is the positive and negative body language in person Try to observe the actions Six is be assertive Be firm and polite but be assertive That's something which is of quality which everyone should have The seventh one is managing relationships Do not get into so many relationships that you are not able to give justice or be just to any one relationship .

So always tried to have Of you know manager relationships in confident manner Well there nice quotation which says that action is the real measure of intelligence Do not think only but do it So action is much much important Are we far more important than just thinking about things So get up and take charge of things and show to people that you care for them Well here's success chart For those of you who really want to get into the social intelligence most have always positive mode .

Team identity is very important . 

Try to always add a team, and a team is usually better than working individually be motivated.

 Most most importantly have emotional awareness know about your feelings and always strive to be in tune with your feelings rather than being little distant away from that .

Communication is embodiment of what you're talking to People always have stress tolerance Do not look at somebody who who's always stressed out about things and out or you're not always anxious about things Stress can be major disaster on   your face if it shows that you're stressed out .

People don't like rebuke those who are all the time stressed.

 So always manage your stress or tolerate your stress Conflict resolution is important If you want to be around people tried to always be somebody who can resolve conflicts in positive manner .

Do not talk to imaginary friends She gets you know just get up and get out of your home and really go ahead and interact with people real time basis rather than off you know off real diamond on social media .

But before we even get onto this

particular module, I would like
you to think of the situation.

Have you ever sat on a train or a bus or
aircraft without knowing where it is

headed or the final destination
of the train, bus or aircraft? Well,

have you ever written a lit a letter
to somebody and forgotten to write

the address of the person on the
postcard and posted without it?

Well, if you have answered no to these

questions, which of course means that it's
basic common knowledge or common sense

that you need to know
where you're getting.

If you sit in an aircraft,
you need to know the final destination.

If you're writing a letter to someone,

you definitely need to write
the address of the person else.

How would the letter reach that person?
Well, friends.

The reason I've asked you on this thing is

because of the fact that smart
goal setting is all about that.

Well, you need to know where you're headed
in life, as you can be in any stop or any

aircraft or any train without
really knowing where it's going.

Hence, it's important to set
goals which are smart.

Let's take a look
at the agenda for us today.

We've talk about what
a smart goal setting.

We will also talk about what does
the acronym SMART stand for?

We'll also talk about certain tips
for extremely smart goals setting.

Their friends, what exactly
is smart goal setting?

Yea, it is a goal which is without
a plan is just oafish or a desire.

How many times have you, you know, stored
your parents or relatives or teacher?

I want this.

I need this.

Or I desire this.

Well, is it the same as goal?
Not really.

Because if your goal is not
smart, it is not a goal.

It is just wishful thinking.

Dreams without, you know,

which are not written down are really just
wishful thoughts which have no deadline.

So let's take a look at what exactly do we
mean by smart setting organization,

use various tools to make
their goals achievable.

Using smart goals is one of them.

This particular technique helps you
to a team and track your progress.

You also can verified every point where

you are going or how much more closer
to your goals you have reached.

So what does the acronym
s m e r d stand for?

Let's take a look at that.

S spot stands for specific.

Your goals need to be something
which is not gender, but specific.

Like what do you want to do?

M stands for measurable,
which means that how will you know whether

you have reached that
particular thing or not.

That's being able to measure your success.

It stands for achievable, which means
is it in your power to accomplish it?

Is your goal attainable or is it something

which is too challenging
or too easy to attain?

You need to understand whether it is
achievable, attainable or accomplishable.

R stands for realistic.

Is your goal realistic or can
you realistically achieve it?

If you say something like this

that tomorrow I want to go on the moon or
tomorrow I want to become an astronaut.

Well, is that realistic?
Not really.

You need to be realistic about your
goal and that is what R stands for.

D stands for timely.

What exactly do you want to accomplish it?

Do you have a deadline?

Do you have a time bound
thing for your goal?

Well if you don't have
it then it's not a goal.

It's just wishful thinking.

As I mentioned before,
your dreams are not your goals.

You need to mention, make it specific,

measurable, attainable, realistic and time
bound for it to become a real goal.

Well, you need to make sure that you're

asking ourselves specific
questions, for example.

Is your goal specific means what, where,
how and when you cannot give a generalized

statement and expect that goal
to become, you know.

All right.

You need to make sure your measurable
that is, you're making it measurable

by breaking it down into measurable units,
achievable or attainable, realistic.

How relevant it is to you.

And timely, you need to make sure that you
understand that time is equal to money.

Now, let me give you an example over your.

If you say of statement like I want
to be rich, is that a smart goal?

Well, not really,

because for this to become a smart goal,
you need to make it more specific

and measurable and attainable
and time bound as well.

So you need to see a sentence
like this, for example.

I want to be rich by 40 million
dollars by the end of 2000 and 28.

Well, now you have made it more smart

because you have made it specific
by seeing that you want to be rich,

by how much measurable you have made it,
by taking a particular amount

into consideration when once you reach
that amount means you attained your goal.

And you've also made it realistic, which
is 2028, which is 10 years away from now.

It's realistic.
It's attainable.

And you have put a time bound on it

by seeing that you want to achieve
it in this year's time.

Now, that is what I want to explain
with the help of this particular example.

Your goals need to be smart
and not just gender, Rick.

Statements.

Well, let's take a quick look at what are
certain tips for good, smart gold setting.
You need to give some thought to the massive picture. 

 How many times has it happened?

That New Year's comes and we're all kicked
up about making our New Year's resolution

midway through the year,
rather one or two months down the line.

We have broken all our resolutions and we
have no idea how to get back to track.

Well, the idea is always
think of the big picture.

Always think about the end goal and what
you would want to achieve by making sure

that you always had that
at the end of your mind.

You think of this is what
I want to become of.

This is what I want to achieve.

So always think of the bigger picture.

It'll help you to stay focused.

The second is getting down to the bottom.

Well, this is what it means.

Once you have said the big picture,

you need to break the goal into simple,
small, measurable actions.

This will help you understand how you can
make your goal measurable and attainable.

Your goal is also something like this

that planning smaller steps make you build
the right momentum in the right direction.

So all these break up your bigger goals
into smaller, actionable plans,

which is easily easy to make
sure that you can carry it out.

Use a systemized formula.

Goal setting is not wishful thinking.

You need to actually write them down.

If you do not write your goals,
they are not goals.

They are just wishful thinking.

And hence, you need
to write everything down.

It will help you to get from one
point to another smoothly.

You will also start getting
the desired results.

If you have a proper
and a structured formula.

So always make sure, for example,

the sentence which says I want to be rich
by 40 million dollars by the end of 2028.

Now, how do you put this into a formula?

How do you strategize it and make it
a proper structure which will help you

to go about your goals smoothly
and in a nice functional manner?

The next step, Westmont goal setting
is how do you track your progress?

So make sure that you are
always reviewing your goals.

If you've set a goal,
today does not mean you forget about it

nicely and remember it only
after one year's time.

You need to ensure that every week,

every month, every fortnight,
you are checking the progress of your goal

and then only it will make
sense to have a small goal

next step for setting small
goals as set an end date.

Well, if you do not have an end date,

you will not know whether you are going
to, you know, achieve your goals or no.

So always have a deadline,

a timeline so that you know that this
much is what is left to do.

And you can always track your progress.

So always, always have any time
or a timeline for your goals.

  • Emotional intelligence ? 


Well , emotional intelligence is something  which is related to managing and balancing your own emotions . There was a time  when I could not balance my own emotions in the past . But when I learned about this new topic , it was an eye opener for me . So let's see , what is the agenda for today ?

Today , we will be learning the concept of emotional intelligence . We will be learning the meaning . What exactly is emotional intelligence ? We will be learning the three skills of emotional intelligence . What are the skills required ? How does emotional intelligence make a difference in your lives ?



 Well , emotion intelligence is also known as equal rights . You can call it Bill one . And of course , at the end , what do we learn from the Andile topic ? Concept of emotional intelligence , well , very , very important how and when did it start ?

How did it concept start and where did it come from ? Well , it started in the year 1990 by two gentlemen and very intelligent  gentleman called Peter Salvaje and John Mr. Well , 
these what the psychologist who  studies psychology back in 1980s and then they  came up with this concept called emotional intelligence . After doing a lot of research on the same topic . What exactly is emotional intelligence ? Have you ever thought about it that can you actually be emotionally intelligent ? Yes , you can .

So what is it exactly ? According to the dictionary , meaning the capacity to be aware of control and express one's emotions and to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically , 

 that simply means that you are able to  control and balance your own emotions in a way when you can decide whatever you're feeling in your heart is actually right or wrong , even if it's anger or any kind of rage or anxiety . Is it right to feel that particular emotion in that particular situation ?

So that is actually being emotionally intelligent . Right now , we will see what are the skills required . How can you actually be emotionally intelligent ? So what are the three skills required ?

 The first skill is . Well , you need to identify and name your own emotion . You should be able to name your emotion and identify and label it . For example , if you're feeling angry but you feel that you're not very sure whether it's angle , whether it's depression , whether it's anxiety , that means you do not really have the skill to know how you're feeling .

So knowing and identifying is the first step . The feeling , the emotion , the second step is the ability to harness those emotion and apply them on your day to day routine . That means now once you label your own emotion , you address them . And now you have to apply in your day to day routine . How will you do that by solving your own problems , by taking judicious dipshit decisions . Right . So that's how you'll be able to apply in your personal and professional life .

The third skill is. The ability to manage emotions , for instance , regulating your own emotion and also understanding the emotion of the opposite person . So emotional intelligence doesn't just limit yourself to grasp your own emotions , but also extends itself to know somebody else's emotions furthermore . 

 So if you understand these three skills , you will be . You are 50 percent dead . Let's see what's ahead of this . No , how does emotion , intelligence actually affect our day to day routine , day to day lives ?

The first thing up here is emotional intelligence can lead us on the trail to a fulfilled and happy life.

That means one . Once we are able to understand our own emotions , we'll be happy . We are much more happier , joyful , satisfied and content in our lives . For example , if you are frustrated . You know that you are frustrated and that's how you'll be able to decide how to come out of that frustration , if you are happy , you know that you are happy , you're joyful .

And that's how you know that these other things I need to do to continue being happy . Isn't it ? Second . Emotional intelligence can make your cardio .

 If you're emotionally intelligent at work , you'll How you will be able to be smarter balance your own emotions and control them


 For example , probably if you , you know , probably feeling very angry on your colleague or on your boss or any of your subordinate . 

If you're not emotionally intelligent , you would vent out your anger there and then .


But if you want an emotionally intelligent person , you would know that I do not have to actually rent out my anger on my colleague or my boss at that particular moment . However , I need to think about it first . If my anger is right or not . And then decide what you have to do . You have to be in control of your emotions . Your emotions should not be able to control you . And that's how you will be successful at work .

Right now , the third one . Emotional intelligence can actually save your life . Now , how it can save your life ? It I'm sure it must be very surprising for you to know this fact . But he has it just completely true . Well , there are times when you are feeling those negative emotions like anxiety , sadness , you're being upset or anything . What people usually do is they kind of suppress their emotions , suppress suppressing your emotions is the worst thing you can ever do , because that's how you are , you know , of being in a shell .

You are depressing yourself even more . You're getting into that . You know , you're the dark shell there . You don't know how to get out of it . If you're emotionally intelligent , you know how to control your negative emotions . Right . And you will be more helpful and more positive . That's how you can actually give yourself a healthier and a better life . Well , at the end , I would like to conclude by saying it is very important to understand that emotional intelligence is not the opposite of intelligence .

It is not the triumph of hard overhead . It is the unique intersection of both . Very interesting fact . At the end , we realize that it is not about , you know , thinking from your mind or thinking from your heart and which one is better . 

However , it's always a mix of both heart and your mind which will lead you towards success
